Track and Field season is just around the corner!
It’s time to get back to Athletics – or to start Athletics!!!!
Be at the Clubhouse at 8:15 for an 8:30am start tomorrow!!!
We are are excited to welcome new members and some come ‘n’ try guests!
We’ve set up some jumps, sprints, a little middle-distance run, some discus and shotput.
It’s a great time to come and try out some of the different disciplines that makeup an Athletics carnival.
For our returning athletes, come to the track and get in a little practice to hone those skills for the new season. Enjoy a bit of sunshine!!!
Parent helpers will be needed for set-up and pack-up, call Rob on 0448 012 236 if you’re available to help.
And for our Parents we have barista-made coffee from our own 2 group-head coffee machine!! Just what you need to start the day!!
Don’t forget that at the Canteen at the Clubhouse we also have hot chocolate with or without marshmallows, or try our Mars Bar special, there’s hot dogs, the best steamed dim-sims in town and our fabled hot chips are already selling like… well hot chips!!
You can help support the Royal Children’s Hospital by buying a snag in bread too.
All at great prices – and entirely run by volunteers, so the money all stays in the club to help keep our fees the lowest of any sport around!!
