We are thrilled to announce that for the first time since 2018, Little Athletics Cross Country returns to Edwardes Lake Park!

PRLAC has been given the terrific opportunity to step in as hosts of the Division One Cross Country meet on Saturday 19th July (next Saturday) due to unforeseen circumstances resulting in a need to find an alternative venue for competition. This marks the first time that PRLAC will host Division One Cross Country since joining the XC program in 2019.

It would be wonderful to see as many Preston/Reservoir athletes in attendance as possible (even if your child has not competed yet this Cross Country season) so we can have a strong turnout on home soil. We also thank our PRLAC families in advance for their support in assisting us to host through volunteering on the day.

Our athletes are looking forward to leading the way on home turf as we welcome Northern Metro Region – Little Athletics Victoria and our fellow NMR centres to Preston/Reservoir for a wonderful morning of Cross Country action.

More details will be shared next week regarding the day including course maps that are in the process of being finalised.

In the meantime we look forward to this Saturday’s Cross Country meet at Bundoora Park and also wish Leon and Alexander all the best as they head to Ballarat on Saturday to compete in the U10 LAVic Cross-Country National Selection Trial
